Tales Unending Void S3 v0.25 Released

Perverteer has pushed out Season 3 - 0.25 of Tales from the Unending Void, one of the longest-running sci-fi corruption titles on the scene, and the headline change is under the hood: the entire project has been migrated to the Ren’Py 7.5.2 engine.

Engine migrations this late into a project’s life are rare, and they usually come with a wave of stability improvements and modernized save/load handling, so returning players should expect a smoother experience alongside whatever new story content Season 3 continues to build on. The update credits community member OWSam000 for help getting this release across the line, a nod to the game’s long-standing modding and testing community.

Tales from the Unending Void has built its reputation on a sprawling harem-and-corruption sci-fi setting with a heavy focus on animated 3DCG scenes, and Season 3 has been steadily expanding the cast and story beats since its introduction. With the engine now current, future updates should have an easier path for adding new features without fighting legacy Ren’Py quirks.

The game remains available in English, Russian, Polish, Italian, Portuguese, French, and Chinese, and runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, cementing it as one of the more broadly accessible long-form projects in the genre.
